Friday Following
Following on from last week, today I post my Tweeters worth following. This week will be a little different however. Rather than having a massive list of 20 or so people, I’m going to narrow it right down to a smaller group of people that I am starting to follow regularly, or that I am in regular contact with. I also feature my next Twitter tip, as well as 5 top posts to check out!

Twitter Tips
This one has been requested specifically – so here goes. What does the hash, “#”, symbol mean? The hash, prefixing a word is called a “hash-tag”, and it is used to categorise tweets. For instance, #FF is short hand for Follow Friday. Hash tags are not a specific feature of Twitter, but rather have come out of the community itself.
You can also search for hash tags, meaning they could be used almost like keywords!

Hi Mark,
Excellent blog post idea. Giving links and kudos to other bloggers builds rapport. Networking is one of the most important areas in blogging.
Have a great weekend.
Hey James,
Thanks!! I’m with you on that one. Networking is very important, and I think this is a great way to do it.
Thanks once again for the mention Mark. I really appreciate it! Also, your little Twitter tips are something I have started to look forward to at the end of the week. Keep it up!

Hey Dev,
Thanks for the support. Alex’s post was awesome – he writes some great stuff.
These are some great articles Mark. I was already familiar with some, read the remaining ones.
And your Twitter tips about # tags is very useful. Even now I find it difficult to utilize the full power of hashtags.
Hey Sourav,
Thanks, I checked out your list as well – I see we read some of the same blogs!
Hash tags are a great opportunity, but as you say, using them effectively is tricky. Have you had much experience using them?
Hey Mark, like the new design… looks (and feels) good! Thanks for including me on your list, that’s a fantastic compliment.
