Following on from last week, today I post my Tweeters worth following. This week will be a little different however. Rather than having a massive list of 20 or so people, I’m going to narrow it right down to a smaller group of people that I am starting to follow regularly, or that I am in regular contact with. Twitter Tips
This one has been requested specifically – so here goes. What does the hash, “#”, symbol mean? The hash, prefixing a word is called a “hash-tag”, and it is used to categorise tweets. For instance, #FF is short hand for Follow Friday. Hash tags are not a specific feature of Twitter, but rather have come out of the community itself.
You can also search for hash tags, meaning they could be used almost like keywords!
