6 Comments eCourse Review – Rob’s Web Tips
Websites have dramatically evolved over the past decade from dull boring pages of poorly presented content to some of the many interactive sociable sources of information they are today. The main cause of this has been the evolution of blogging. What is for many, a popular past time, is also a profitable means to a living for the successful few.
We all strive to have some extra cash in our pockets, and a popular method that many turn to is making money online – usually through a monetised blog. There are many guides on how to do this. Today I review the “Ultimate Blogging eCourse” by Rob’s Web Tips.
When I recently started blogging, Rob’s Web Tips was one of the first sites I visited. I came across it after he received a great review by Lisa at 2createawebsite.com for his work. I had learned pretty quickly that one thing successful webmasters have is a list – that is a list of email addresses of people who have signed up to be kept up to speed with the goings on at whatever site it is.
Rob’s list is generated from those who sign up to his eCourse, which guides you through blogging for the absolute beginner through more advanced users. In addition to gaining access to the eCourse, you will also receive occasional email updates and tips from Rob himself. These are a great means of supplementing the content on his course.
Oh, did I say, his course is FREE!
Yep – doesn’t cost you a thing. With a simple email, once it’s confirmed, you are good to go!
eCourse Format
Rob’s course is formated as a series of videos for you to watch through as he discusses the tips on starting up your blog. The videos are divided up depending upon which stage your blog is at.
The first part covers the basics for those who haven’t got a blog yet. It covers all of the important aspects: getting a host, installing wordpress and setting it up with your first post.
The second part is aimed at those who have progressed from the basics, or have a blog already which has stagnated. The focus is informing you of methods to drive traffic to your site.
The final part is aimed at those who have already got some good traffic. It covers the fun and exciting topic of monetising your blog.
What else is there?
Don’t worry, Rob has a few other things. Of particular use, to any blogger, whether you are a beginner, or someone wanting to advance their site, Rob provides you with a number of valuable resources which has used to create his own fortunes. Furthermore, he offers a service where by Rob will personally evaluate your site and provide you feedback to help make you a better blogger.
Do you recommend it?
I sure do. I have watched the videos on a number of occasions and they have provided me with a knowledge which has started to build up some momentum in traffic. My Alexa Rank has dropped from 17m to just under 2m in a matter of weeks by following the tips.

eCourse Review – Rob’s Web Tips…
A review of Rob’s Web Tips eCourse….
I was one of the first to know of his eCourse. In fact, I helped him build parts of it.
It’s a great course that I recommend to people asking me for help all the time. There is no sense in writing a 500 word response when it has already been done.
Great review, Mark!
Oooo… I didn’t realise that Rob’s course was video. What do you like best about the video format for a course?
Hi Thomas, great to have you back here. You can probably expect a review of your course on here too.
The thing I liked best about video is it is like you are sitting in class at college and you are being guided. It’s more personal I think than reading an ebook or similar. Hearing someones voice and seeing the video refreshes your mind with those feelings of learning.
